It's been all hands on deck for the launch of our new short story anthology Shadows on the Path. Stuart's taken delivery of the books, our online shop is fully stocked, the reviews are in and the prosecco is ready to pop!
At our book launch party on 16th October a small number of invited guests will be joining us at Ditchling Barn to help celebrate, listen to some story readings and maybe even buy a book or two - we can't wait!
Shadows on the Path is the second volume in Chalk Circle's STRATA series and our biggest
selection of stories to date: twenty-eight intriguing tails from a diverse group of Sussex writers; also London writer, Tom Watling's winning entry in the Chalk Circle Short Story Competition 2020, Always Something to Do on a Saturday; and a Literary In Memoriam to much missed, writer and friend, Judith Bruce.
John Vernon Lord

Take a sneak peak at just one of the magical illustrations that have inspired some of our writing.
Shadows on the Path will be available to buy at £6.99 plus P&P from our online shop and from selected Sussex book shops. To whet your appetite here are some short extracts from the book.
